What does that mean? It means that the person that is coming to your house to service your electrical needs is a licensed person. He has the years of experience and has passed all the test required to be certified by the state of Arizona to perform electrical work. 

You might think well if they have an ROC then they are licensed. Yes and no. In Arizona you only need one person to hold an electrical license and then you can hire electricians under you to perform the work. So when you call Parker and Sons, George Brazil, Redline, Penguin or any other larger electrical companies you won't actually get a licensed electrician in your home to perform the work. You might get an electrician that has 1 year of experience. The person that holds the licensed is in the backgrounds and will never perform the electrical work.
